Sound

With two 5.1 surround equipped studios, our sound facilities are located just around the corner from our main complex. Designed around the latest advances in sound science, the rooms are constructed on a floating room for optimal acoustics.

As with everything we do when it comes to sound development, we employ a healthy mix of seasoned experience and creative juices. Just how much experience you ask? Well, between us we have over 60 years of commercial sound production experience – not that we like to boast.

Many of the industry’s top directors have utilised our expertise in dialogue resurrection, realistic soundscapes and off-world sound design. Of course it goes without saying that every project, no matter how small or large, receives the same exacting attention to detail.

Grading

Our colourists are a pretty intense bunch with an eye for detail. This said, they’ve worked with some of the best international DOP’s in the industry, always producing nothing short of innovative and compelling imagery. In short, they’re willing to go the extra mile to get the results our clients are looking for.

Adding a splash of colour to your world

From music videos and commercials to full TV series and feature films, our team regularly work on both domestic and international releases. Using cutting-edge technology, we can work directly from the negative, tape and file in either a linear or non-linear workflow. This includes 2k, HD, PAL and NTSC formats, alongside more specialist requirements.

Data Scanning – powered by Scanity

Our state of the art Scanity data scanner powers both of our digital grading suites – offering the highest possible resolution and dynamic 2K or 4K images. All our hardware is optimized for realtime grading with native 4K RED camera files.

Film lab

Stopp’s film lab is the only 24/7 state of the art front end film labs in the country. We offer a premium overnight service for next day delivery, ensuring a speedy turnaround when you need it most. Of course, it goes without saying the service includes the same meticulous attention to detail applied to everything we do.

Digital lab

Production choices have never been more complex than they are today, which is why our expert team are on hand to advise producers/directors & photographers throughout the production process. Our digital lab offers clients workflow facilities for digital formats such as RED cameras.
