Camera testing: Sony NEX FS100EK
This is a simple test of the Sony NEX FS100EK camera with its Super35 CMOS Sensor. I will not dig too deep in the techs and specs of it, but click the screen grabs to see for yourself in high resolution and hopefully get a feeling of the image quality.
King’s microphones
Feel like making a speech to the nation? A good start would be to plug in one of the exquisite hand crafted microphones that were custom made for the British royal family. Each king or queen had their very own mic, and from the looks of it, no expenses were spared. In the award winning movie “The King’s Speech”, you can get a glimpse of what they look like.

Adobe Edge: First impressions
Anyone following current events in the web tech world will have heard of Adobe Edge, which appears to be some sort of attempt to safeguard against the possible (or even eventual) demise of Flash. Stockholm Ljud, Ljus och Bildmässa (Sound, Light and Image Fair)
Some of us at Stopp went to check out the Sound, Light and Picture Fair. This year was really nice and ambitious, with lots of monitors and interesting seminars.
Our Telecine crew tested out some new panels, from Eclipse (Eclipse CX) and talked to Avid about there new coming grading panel. There were some nice monitors and lots of cameras, new camera rigs for the Canon 5D and some cool 3D digital cameras and Monitors.
One particularly interesting seminar was about “Audiorama”, a new experience of sound design is about to happen in Stockholms Skeppsholmen, a 17.4 sound experience. Sounds like a lot of fun!
Onelights directly to your iPhone
We recently started a project for SVT Göteborg. It’s a TV-series called Hinsehäxan, 3x60min, directed by Molly Harleb shot by DoP Erik Molberg Hansen.
Since Stopp is a fullservice posthouse that always strives to deliver better and more intuative results, ´we wanted to give the production the benefits of a non-linear dailies workflow. This resulted in an Avid-native MXF-file & an iPhone-compatible Quicktime that can even be played through the normal 3G network.
If you want to learn more about how Stopp can improve your production with our “technically-creative” staff, Just give us a call!
