Following from the success of Tackfilm, Using US style news reporting, B-reel films brought a more humorous feel for Tackfilm 2.
There were the same technical challenges for the second installment, the film needed to be reduced to one stream using only one matte channel including all reflections and shadows to ensure smooth playback when using the site.
The Web department at Stopp wanted to push the boundaries of flash this time. A crop circle shot was designed with the users uploaded picture defining where the grass would be flattened, all completed real-time in flash.
Stopp’s 3D team designed the UFO sequence, extra camera moves and digital breakup were added in post to give the feeling of a broadcast signal being interrupted. Particle elements and debris were also added with the beam and picture integration finalized in Flame.
