The Max Chain Reaction, Farewell, Mirage, commercials were directed by Mats from Traktor through The Producers.
In “Chain reaction” we see various people drooling over what we find to be a perfectly presented Max hamburger.
Some of the work for “Chain reaction” involved enhancing and adding drool, adding a Cg bird beak (plus drool), and green screen compositing, as the commercials were shot at night when it was to look like day.
For “Farewell” Airplane landing lights were added in the background to add to the Casablanca feel.
And in “Mirage” our hero starts to fantasize about food while waiting for his order, nacho ears were added to the dream sequence, with the animation finished in Flame.
All the commercials were shot on the brand new digital camera from Arri, the Alexa, by Swedih DoP Göran Hallberg.
Final grading completed in the DaVinci Resolve by Carl Skaff. Sound by Stopp.
