Norwegian
In this slightly surreal spot for airline company Norwegian, a salmon, an old tv-set, a pair of sandals and a couple of pizzas, come to life to promote Norwegian’s latest campaign for domestic flights in Sweden.
Apart from supporting agency Volt with creative ideas and storyboarding, Stopp’s team supervised a photo-shoot of source plates, background elements and reference for the spot’s inanimate cast.
Stopp then created and animated content from scratch, using Softimage and The Foundry’s new texture paint-tool Mari, developed for Avatar, to quickly arrive at the look and feel needed.
Using on-set HDR-lighting data to re-create the environment, we realistically lit and integrated the animated objects into the shots.
In compositing we added live-action elements, and made tweaks to the rendered CG-frames.
When we had brought the spot through online for final edit and touches, we delivered a funny and tight spot, meeting a very short deadline.
We are really happy with the result!
